Dan is a registered psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting separating and high-conflict families.
He has broad clinical and forensic experience, conducting assessments across family law, child protection and criminal proceedings. Dan is regularly engaged as an expert witness in the Children's Court and Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, both privately and as a Panel Family Consultant for the Court (appointed previously under Regulation 7).
Dan has worked extensively in family dispute resolution across New South Wales and Queensland, including in Family Relationship Centres as a family mediator, child consultant, and facilitator of post-separation parenting programs. He continues to conduct Family Dispute Resolution as both chairperson and panel member for Legal Aid NSW.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science from the University of Queensland, Graduate Diploma of Psychology and Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology from Bond University, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Turnaround Time: Four weeks
Scope: Includes three days set aside for interviews, background reading material including subpoenaed documents (up to 500 pages - additional fee of $250 + GST per hundred pages thereafter) and may also include psychometric testing of personality

CHILD IMPACT REPORT/SHORT FORM REPORT
Availability: November 2025
Fees: $5,000.00 + GST
Turnaround Time: One to Two Weeks
Scope: Brief interviews with parents and subject children. This brief Child Impact Report does not include extensive background reading or reading of any subpoenaed documents, however, we request the following documents no later than two weeks prior to interviews taking place:
Letter of joint instruction
Affidavit from each party or a one-page summary of events to date
Copy of the most recent court orders if applicable
Please note that Child Impact Reports are not suitable for complex matters in which there are allegations of violence or abuse to be investigated. They are brief assessments of how the children are currently functioning and will not have the scope to investigate, substantiate or refute allegations.

MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT

Fees: $5,000.00 + GST per adult to be assessed
Turnaround Time: Two to Four weeks
Scope/process: Per adult to be assessed - clinical interviews and the client to undergo a psychometric assessment of personality.
