Hollie Thompson provides a range of services including Family Reports, Court Reports, and Psychometric Assessments. Hollie holds specialist postgraduate qualifications in psychology and education and gained much of her expertise working with children and young people for over ten years in the education and psychology sectors.
Hollie uses a family systems approach and works with family members both individually and as a whole family unit to achieve the best possible outcomes for children.
Hollie is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland. She is also a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers.
Hollie has a particular interest in finding solutions for challenging circumstances. Her clients value her friendly, nurturing, inclusive and professional approach, and she is widely respected for her ability to understand and resolve complex family dynamics.
Prior to moving into private practice, Hollie worked as a Teacher for the Education Department before commencing a role as a Senior Advisor and Psychologist for children and disengaged young people with mental health concerns.
Hollie is friendly and approachable and has a calming disposition, which, blended with her natural ability to quickly build rapport with children, gain their trust and encourage growth during difficult transitions, is well revered. Fees: $15,000.00 + GST
Turnaround Time: Six to Eight weeks
Scope: Includes interviews, background reading material including subpoenaed documents (up to 500 pages - additional fee of $250 + GST per hundred pages thereafter), and may also include psychometric testing of personality. _________________________________________________________________________________________
CHILD IMPACT REPORT/SHORT FORM REPORT
Availability: October 2025
Fees: $4,500.00 + GST
Turnaround Time: Three to Four Weeks
Scope: Brief interviews with parents and subject children. This brief Child Impact Report does not include extensive background reading or reading of any subpoenaed documents, however, we request the following documents no later than two weeks prior to interviews taking place:
Letter of joint instruction
Affidavit from each party or a one-page summary of events to date
Copy of the most recent court orders if applicable
Please note that Child Impact Reports are not suitable for complex matters in which there are allegations of violence or abuse to be investigated. They are brief assessments of how the children are currently functioning and will not have the scope to investigate, substantiate or refute allegations.
