New referral
Hi everyone, I received this referral over email today. I can't do it. Please let me know if you would like me to put your name forward to the lawyer.
I am hoping you may be able to assist with some referrals to a psychiatrist or psychologist to prepare a limited mental health assessment for one party only in family law proceedings.
The client has minimal means and has a pending Legal Aid application, so we would be grateful to know those practitioners who may accept Legal Aid or can accommodate parties with limited means.
The matter is in the Evatt list of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and there are serious allegations of domestic and family violence and coercive control, so we would appreciate someone with expertise in these areas.
The limited mental health assessment will be used to inform a Court based Family Report scheduled in June 2026.
