Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows if there are any court support services to support children in Sydney who are going to have to give evidence and be cross-examined in criminal local court proceedings about physical abuse of a parent - to help prepare them? They are 10 and 5 years old.

Hey Rickie, I'm not sure of any specific service. My first thought is that police/prosecutors can be funny about involving therapeutic intervention surrounding specific events for fear of the memory of the event being contaminated. I know there's a support service at the ODPP but am unsure how much they cater to kids. Sorry I can't assist further!
